Antarctic ice is the biggest unknown in our quest to get a handle on future sea levels, but it looks as if it will play a key role. Working out what’s happening with Antarctic ice is a tough assignment, but an international aerial survey of the ice sheet aims to produce new data on current and past ice conditions.
